The Associate of Science Culinary Arts degree program at Platt College offers students the chance to earn a comprehensive culinary education through cooking courses designed to prepare them for careers in the culinary world. As a student, you’ll learn new and traditional cooking techniques that can make you a valuable asset in kitchens around the country.
At our culinary schools in Oklahoma, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from professional chefs in our modern cooking facilities complete with updated tools and amenities. Our class sizes allow students to get the individual support and instruction they need to feel confident in their cooking skills upon completion of this culinary degree program. In addition, students can have the chance to hone their skills while working in one of our institution-owned fine dining establishments: Chefs Di Domani, Café Broccato or Foundations Restaurant.
As one of the only ACF-accredited culinary schools in Oklahoma, and only approved Certification Evaluator in the state, we’re able to offer ACF Certifications to former students and other culinarians working in the corporate world.
Our Associate of Science in Culinary Arts program consists of 1,860 clock hours, 111.00 quarter credit hours, and can be completed in approximately 15 months or 65 weeks.
