You can earn your diploma at Platt College Pastry School

Designed for aspiring bakers and pastry chefs, the Pastry Arts program at Platt College introduces students to the tools and techniques used by professionals in a variety of baking settings. Whether it’s learning to bake artisan breads, craft delightful desserts or create traditional pastries from scratch, our pastry school can prepare you to enter this competitive field.

Platt College baking and cooking courses allow you to learn hands-on from experienced instructors in our class settings, which can help you get more individual attention and support when you need it. As an up-and-coming pastry chef, you will study nutrition, sanitation, safety and management skills that can help you in your future career.

Upon graduation from our pastry school, you can be prepared for entry-level employment at restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, catering companies and other food service organizations.

Our pastry arts program meets establish accreditation standards and consists of 1,238 clock hours, 61.50 quarter credit hours, and can be completed in approximately nine months.
