This program includes course work with basic and intermediate skills to home communications technology for the home or integration industry.
The program addresses topics in computer networks, communications, home automation, cabling, and wiring.

This program addresses topics in computer networks, communications, home automation, cabling, and wiring.
The Home Entertainment and Networking Technology program is aimed at providing students with an understanding of how separate systems can be linked into a unified functional network that is accessible from multiple locations. This program will prepare the graduate for entry-level positions with security system providers/installers, cable service providers and entertainment/media sales/installation companies.
The length of the program is 11.3 months and consists of 1045 clock hours and 93.50 quarter credit hours.
Our Associate of Science degree in Home Entertainment and Network Technology is available at the Dallas Campus only.

NETWORK OVERVIEW
The combination of technical and general education courses helps to prepare students of the Associate of Science in Network Systems Administration and Security complexities in the workplace.
These can include technical skills as well as an understanding of business functions, human behavior, problem solving and effective communication in a technical environment.

Network Systems Administration and Security - Associate's of Science
The combination of technical and general education courses helps to prepare students of the Associate of Science in Network Systems Administration and Security complexities in the workplace. These can include technical skills as well as an understanding of business functions, human behavior, problem solving and effective communication in a technical environment.
This program helps prepare students for entry-level positions as network administrators, computer or technical support specialists, help desk technicians and computer systems administrators. Upon graduation the student will posses the necessary skills and knowledge in order to obtain field certifications.
The length of the program is 12 months and consists of 1265 clock hours and 112.50 quarter credit hours.
The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges requires schools to round quarter credits down to the nearest half number. Therefore, 112.50 quarter credit hours is recognized by the ACCSC for the Associate of Science in Network Systems Administration and Security program
