These culinary terms and techniques are just the beginning of what you can learn with training from the professional chefs at our culinary school in Oklahoma City.
Our Secrets of the Chef cooking classes are held once a month and offer you the chance to learn the nuances of cooking from the professional chefs at Platt College. These classes are for beginners and seasoned culinarians alike. Most classes are $50, but prices can vary. Find which of our cooking classes interest you the most. January 19 – Food as Art
We’ve all seen the fancy plates of food that grace the covers of magazines. Now’s your chance to see how it’s done. Join Chef Patrick Morris and learn how to make your food look as good as it tastes.
February 16 – Food as Art
If you missed us the first time around, here’s your chance to see how professional chefs make their food look so good. Our Food as Art cooking class is given by Chef Patrick Morris – believe us when we say, he knows what he’s doing.

June 15 – Summer Fruit Pies and Cobblers
There’s nothing better than the sweet smell of a fruit pie or cobbler during the summer. Learn the secrets to a perfect crust and a filling to die for. This class is given by Chef Melodie Walker, one of our baking experts.
August 17 – Southern Comfort
All the comforts of southern cuisine are covered in this short but effective class given by Chef Dale Tanner. We suggest a loose-fitting pair of trousers for this one.
September 21 – Moonlight Dinner
Want to create the perfect romantic dinner? Join Chef Mark Cochran on September 21 and learn the secret to staying out of the dog house forever.
October 19 – Spooky Fun Party Ideas
Just in time for Halloween, this cooking class given by Chef Jonathan will inspire you to create some scary tasty party favorites. Keep the little ghosts and goblins in your life happy on All Hallows’ Eve.
